Maintenance Cleaning
Weekly, bi-monthly, or monthly recurring cleanings focused on regular upkeep
Service Description
Maintenance cleans focus on regular upkeep of your home’s cleanliness and can only be scheduled after an initial deep clean of your home has been performed. Once your home is at a baseline level of cleanliness, regular maintenance cleans can be scheduled where each visit is set at a fixed price which includes a set of cleaning services customized to your needs. Additionally, individual rooms or focus areas can also be deep cleaned on a rotational basis. We offer weekly, bi-monthly and monthly cleaning schedules. Our typical maintenance cleaning process is outlined below. Additional services can be requested for an additional fee. Dusting: All surfaces are dusted starting from the top to the bottom of each room. We provide extra attention to horizontal surfaces that collect dust such as ceiling fans, shelves, window sills, and baseboards. Wiping: High-contact surfaces such as table tops, counters, door handles and wall switches are sprayed, wiped and sanitized with a microfiber cloth. We also spot-treat areas with residue or dirt when it is feasible and safe to do so. Vacuuming: To maximize cleaning efficiency, vacuuming is performed towards the end of a cleaning so that all high-level dust has had time to settle to the floor. Furniture upholstery may also be vacuumed at this time. For liability reasons, we do not move large pieces of furniture. Mopping: The final step involves mopping bare floors, a step in which we take great care as to not damage sensitive floor types such as hardwood. We always start with the least aggressive methods and spot test inconspicuous areas prior to using our cleaning products. Bathroom: The bathroom vanity, sink, toilet, shower/tub, and floors are all included in a maintenance clean. Does not include cleaning grout or hard-water stains. Kitchen: Includes cabinets, stovetop, counters, appliance exteriors, backsplashes, sink, and floors. Does not include washing dishes nor cleaning interior of cabinets, fridge, oven or dishwasher. Please see the "Standard Cleaning Checklists" on the Services page of our website for the full list of maintenance cleaning tasks. Other services that are NOT included in a maintenance clean are laundry, organization, loading/unloading dishwashers, stain-removal, or cleaning areas that require extensive time de-cluttering. These non-included services can be added for an additional fee.
